To project and copy an element against a plane defined by three points

Select the Copy as Projection tool.

From the Proj. Onto Plane Def. By option menu, choose 3 pts.

To define an imaginary plane against which to project the element, enter three data points.

Select an element to project.
The projected element is highlighted.

To accept the new element, enter another data point anywhere.
